Golfers competing in the Professional division may play practice rounds on the tournament course, Irv Warren Golf Course, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the tournament week. The staff at Irv Warren encourages you to come out at your convenience and they will get you out on the course for your practice rounds. Complementary practice rounds will be offered to Pros registered to play in the Professional division on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the week of the tournament. Practice rounds cannot be played on Thursday at Irv Warren Golf Course due to the Pro-Sponsor Tournament. Players are welcome to show up and walk the course throughout the day on Thursday, but players are prohibited from taking any clubs on the course during that time. The putting green and practice area will be available for use throughout the day on Thursday.
There is an area at Irv Warren Golf Course to hit shag balls, but golfers will need to provide and pick up their own golf balls. Golfers are also welcome to visit Cedar Valley Golf Center to hit range balls. Cedar Valley Golf Center is not affiliated with the Waterloo Open and golfers will have to purchase range balls at this location. Cedar Valley Golf Center is located less than 2 miles from Irv Warren Golf Course. Please visit www.cedarvalleygolfcenter.com for more information and directions. Sunnyside Country Club will not be open for use by Professionals during this year’s Waterloo Open unless the pro is accompanied by a member of Sunnyside Country Club. Any pros that are on Sunnyside’s premises who are not accompanied by a member will be asked to leave.
